Have you ever had the playlist order change when you burn a CD?
I viewed a post here and now can't find the suggestion that helped me: The change has to do with the alphabetical order of the song titles, and it reverse them. I overcame the problem by adding "h", then "g", etc. in reverse alphabetical order to my titles, and it fixed my problem. Thanks, whoever brought that up! It actually is on my OS X Mac, not my laptop...

Open Music and right-click or Control-click the playlist you want to burn. Click on Copy to Play Order and attempt to burn the CD after this. If you continue to have issues with this, see if any of the steps here help:

Thank you for responding to my question.
When I tried the Copy to Play click, it did not solve the problem.
As I said, I burn CD's on my old tower Mac, an OSX.
When I checked in here (a happy help!), someone had mentioned that the play order tends to get scrambled
in reverse alphabetical order by title, so I cheated; I renamed the songs with a letter at the start -
and it did work: The letters helped the playlist conclude with the order I wanted.
I appreciate your response, and hope my experience helps someone else.
