Question: white page on the left and numbering

In Pages, when we create a new section that starts on the right page, Pages automatically inserts a blank page on the left. But it continues the numbering on the right page, without taking into account the added page. This makes the right page end up with an even number, which is ridiculous.

I did not find any solution. Will there be an engineer from Apple who will read this message and fix this stupid bug? Because, for the moment, it is necessary to renumber each section, but if we make modifications of pages above, the numbers are no longer good. It is therefore necessary to recheck all the sections.

Apple, will you solve this problem?

These are fellow user supported communities, and Apple product teams do not participate here. You have a feedback menu item on the Pages application menu for reaching out directly to the Pages product team.
