I have a late 2014 iMac, running Mojave. I'm thinking about upgrading to Catalina, but I know only 64 bit apps will work.
I use Airtunes to stream music to several Airport Express stations around my house. I'm just wondering if there will be any compatibility issues. 2 of my Airport Expresses are the older models that can no longer be updated using Airport Utility. Will iTunes still recognize them?

In macOS Catalina, iTunes has been split into different applications for TV, Podcasts, and Music. I don't think it's a good idea with your setup to upgrade to macOS Catalina, as it could cause compatibility, I recommend doing some research on this before doing any sort of operating system upgrades. I'm trying to do my research, but I haven't found anything. I'm hoping someone here has first hand experience they can share.
My huge iTunes library is stored on an external drive, and I have 2 other fairly recent iMacs I could transfer it to. I'm just trying to figure out exactly what will and will not work when I upgrade.
