Where to find Snow Leopard

Hi everyone. I got an iMac7.1 intel Core 2 Duo. Recently purchased a hard disc on Amazon to upgrade to snow leopard, but my imac isnt opening the disc. I've been looking everywhere to purchase ir but haven't had any luck, I search apple website and dont see it. Help please!

And if its an Apple disk, is it the grey one or the white one?


It needs to be the white retail disk.


Grey disks are keyed to the system they shipped with and will not work with other macs.


Also, are you certain the CD drive in the Mac still works? Can it see other disks?

If you have the install disc for it then yes. Its fine. All other updates will need to be obtained from the Mac App Store.


You can update directly to 10.11 el Capitan from 10.6.8 Snow Leopard.
