My iPad no longer changes orientation from portrait to landscape. How can I restore that function?
Have you tried a simple hard reset of your iPad by holding down both the Home and sleep/wake buttons simultaneously until your iPad goes to black and restarts with Apple logo, then release the buttons?

That is what is not working. If that had worked I would not be concerned. No matter what orientation I set the device, the image remains in portrait mode.
Did you make sure the Orientation Lock was off? You don't mention that, which is why I ask.
