Apple Watch Stair Counting

I have a Apple Watch series 3 that I’ve had for about a year and it doesn’t count when I go up/down stairs. One day I went up/down the stairs at least 20 times and my watch had only counted 4 staircases for the day. I never get exercise minutes unless I specifically workout using the workout app. It is very frustrating.

There really isn't much that you can look at. I can recommend this to see if anything there can assist you as far as measurements are concerned. Get the most accurate measurements using your Apple Watch - Apple Support. Otherwise, you could try resetting your Watch. Press and hold the Digital Crown and power button together until you see the Apple logo and then release. The Watch will reboot. See what happens there. You could also take a look at the data in the Health app on the iPhone. Go to Health, then on the Summary page, tap on Show All Health Data. Scroll down to find Flights Climbed, then tap on that. Scroll down to Show All Data and see what it is showing. It should show floors, with a data. If you tap on that, it will show the floors climbed with the date and time. Hope that helps, this is the best I can tell you.
