I can download music to my mac and my iphone but not my ipod touch gen 4.
do I have to buy the music for my ipod touch to be able to play it? I have an apple music subscription but I tried to download music to an ipod touch and it wont let me.

iPod touch (4th generation) does not support the Apple Music subscription service. You can synchronize iTunes Store purchases or ripped CDs to iPod touch (4th generation).
