Selecting certain Photos Or Music to put onto iCloud

Is there a way to put a particular section of Photos of Music on iCloud. I know storage can be a challenge for some users. Thats why I was wondering if you could select (for example) your favourites album and the last year of photos. This could allow to free up storage while still having offline access to key parts of your device.

Can I only upload Favorited images and videos to Icloud so that it shows on my devices? Can I only upload Favorited images and videos to Icloud so that it shows on my devices? I know I can turn Icloud on, and my photos will sync. The problem occurs when you store thousands of photos and videos on the Photos app on the Mac. I only want to sync my favorited photos or only selected Items. Many Thanks!

Both are library based. All or nothing.
