Draw custom shape ios Pages

I have the latest version of iOS and iOS Pages.

How do I draw a custom shape in iOS pages like in the Mac version where I set the points? In Mac, the guide says:

The pen icon is not on the shapes palette as it is in the Mac version.

The "draw" in the picture menu does not have the options for shapes, but instead only a "dragging motions"

The online help article does mention drawing custom shapes, but drawing by pencil/finger only. https://support.apple.com/en-us/HT208459

I suspect that's this is a feature not available for iOS, which would be unfortunate because it is one of the features I use the most. Thanks in advance for any answers.
