It sounds like you're having an issue saving screen recording. Does this happen in a specific app or in all apps you try to record? Are you seeing an error message when you try to save the recording?

I recommend checking out this article with steps for How to force an app to close on your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch and quit any apps running in the background. Once they're closed, Restart your iPhone and test to see if the issues are still going on.

If it works in other apps, then you should contact the WhatsApp developer. You can usually find that info in the app itself or look at the info in the App Store when you search for WhatsApp.
