Has someone accessed my mac folders? SECURITY

It's been a few years since I bought my MacBook (MacBook Air (Retina, 13-inch, 2018). Back in February 2019 I started noticing some strange folders on my computer which I could not access. Once I began to try to access them, my computer completely shut down TWICE. I gave up and in 2020 tried again, same thing happened, so I completed mac recovery and managed to reboot my mac to a "clean slate". However, there are still some files and folders which say "private" and "hidden" and which I can't seem to access and I most definitely don't recognize. Could someone tell me if these are build in system folders or if something else could be going on? What are they? My job requires some research which could anger some people out there so please try to go easy on me for the paranoia.

In short, I just want to know if this is normal or not.

Thank you for your help. I AM DESPERATE.

I have attached some screenshots below. Let's forget the WHY, do you have any idea on the HOW that could have been inserted there?

I'm not exactly sure what you mean by where "there" is, but I have exactly the same list on my computer running Catalina.

Use a smart card with Mac - Apple Support explains Smart Card uses. Those options are built in for all macOS systems, and available for users who may need that integration.

Hi Ferd 11,

I apologize if I did not explain myself clearly. I am aware of the uses of Smart cards and why someone would need that intergration. In this case however, it seems to be a Cryptographic Token has been in my computer for a while through which someone or something has had access to my network service. As you can understand, this is a major privacy and security concern for both me .

I think this post might have confused some people on here and I am sorry for that. I was or am a victim of a cyber security breach which as many of you know Is very psychologically confusing, mind draining and hard to stay sane. This has been going on for years. At first I thought it could be malware, ransomeware, I don’t know but I don’t care, my curiosity, skills and empathy have only made my worse. And for some reason my situation got much worse since I asked for help here. Now I have no way of getting on my phone, my computer, and I am being sent to loops and back links And secret chats (if that’s what they are) to wikimedia which I can’t even answer because I don’t know how to. I feel drained and have decided to shut these **** devices off until I can afford new ones . Hopefully someday I can spread the word that this **** happens and obviously this person or persons are skilled and fucking freaks for doing this for so long . NO I AM NOT SOCK PUPPETTING now that I know what that is or trolling and now I know I was obviously receiving fake support messages from Apple.
