If your iPhone has Dual SIM support, then you can get a 2nd phone number your iPhone on the eSIM and then attach the Apple Watch to that phone number.

Yes my iPhone has dual sim but I would like to have the 2 things separate. And only family can contact me on the watch when I have no iPhone with me.

My carrier provider would charge me much more if one number is connected to 2 devices instead of just one (no additional charge because I already have this second number)

That’s why my question. Would be very convenient for me to have a number on the watch but set on an iPhone with another number... not sure if that’s possible
