Question: Problem with WPA-Enterprise (802.1x w. PEAP), devices forgetting passwords
Hi,
I am using an iPhone 11 pro, an iPad-Mini 5 ans my old iPad mini 2 (all with latest IOS) connected to an Enterprise-WiFi, using WPA-Enterprise. Each with individual username and password.
Everything worked fine with my old Ipad Mini 2 and my iPhone 11.
But after adding the new iPad min 5 the confusion began:
The iPad got its own WiFi-account an worked fin. In the next morning., the iPhoe hasn't got any WiFi-connection anymore. It showed allways "connection not possible" and after some time "wrong password".
So I deleted the connection and set it ip again (the username was still shown correct) and everything worked well again.
In the next morning, the same game on the other device (iPhone), forgotten password, had to be setup again.
This szenario ist going round and round. In my opinion there is a bug in sharing 802.1x user/pass (what I NOT want at all!). The iPad mini 2 take no part in the game.
Cheers and stay healthy
