MacBook keyboard shortcut

When I type, if I try to edit a part of my sentence, I can only type one letter and then the curser moves back to the end of the sentence. This means that I can't type in the middle of a sentence without continually moving the curser back to the point i want I want for each individual letter! Annoying!

I think I must have accidentally enabled some short of shortcut but I don't know how to reverse this.

Anyone know how to undo this function?

Welcome to the Apple Support Communities, and from your post it appears the cursor moves to the end of a sentence after typing one letter. I'll do what I can to help.

Here are some things to check:

You mentioned it might be a shortcut. Here's where to check them up: Mac keyboard shortcuts
Try checking any mouse settings: Change mouse tracking, double-click, and scrolling speed on Mac
It might also be related to Mouse Keys if they are active: Control the pointer using Mouse Keys on Mac
