Question: Touch ID randomly stopped working on my iPhone 6s

Hi, I have an iPhone 6s and one day I was playing a game then all of a sudden, my Touch ID just turned off. It said “Touch ID was unavailable on this iPhone” and the “add fingerprint” button was grayed out and the “Use Touch ID for iTunes and music” etc was toggled off and every time I tried to turn it on it would say “unable to complete Touch ID setup go back and try again” after I reset the device by holding the wake/sleep button and the home button for about 15 seconds then letting go of both as the Apple logo appeared. This method worked but a week later my Touch ID stopped again after playing a game I tried to restart or reboot like the last time, but this time It wasn’t working I even reset my network setting and factory reset my settings. Nun of this worked. I am slightly familiar with the inside of an iPhone and I read that maybe cleaning the screen flex cable connectors and clean the metal bracket behind the home button would fix it, but it didn’t. Also I didn’t damage any cables because it stopped working when I was playing. If anyone can please respond to this and give me some help that would be greatly appreciated, thanks
