“Matt finish” and “paper-like” as a specification are generally the diametric opposite of that provided by glass screen protectors - which usually offer smooth glass together with oleophobic coatings.
You also need to be careful in your choice of screen protectors on iPad models with FaceID - as many have been known to cause difficulties with the FaceID sensor.
A plastic-film screen protector, from PaperLike, is favoured by some contributors within the community - and disliked by others due to its matt “paper like” finish. It follows that plastic-film does not offer the same level of protection as a tempered glass protector.
As for glass, your might be best advised to consider major branded options such as Zagg - who have excellent reputation. That said, soon after launch of the 2018 iPad Pro models, many manufacturers (including Zagg) withdrew their glass screen protectors for these models of iPad Pro whilst issues with FaceID were resolved. Most manufacturers have now resolved any residual issues - with release of even thinner glass protector variants for 2018/2020 iPads Pro.
