The cards will not work or recognize on my imac (2017) High Sierra 10.13.6. This is the first time I have tried using them. Although the card was on my go pro and it connected to my iMac and I could download the files that way.

Have you tried another sdxc card, it may be a problem with the card you are testing. To eliminate Mac first reset the NVRAM and if that does not help, please restart in Safe Mode and then restart normally and re-test.
tried it all. still not working. I need to start cooking dinner and my dog is very sick. thanks for your help. I may trying again later.
