Question: AirPlay not working

I have a problem using AirPlay on my AppleTV 3rd gen. Model 1469 software 7.5(8097)

Airplay is working fine in all apps except for the one supplied by my local cable television provider. The app is used for live television and viewing back broadcasts from the previous day’s.

Every time I try to setup AirPlay my Apple TV displays the following error:

“An error occurred loading this content.

Try again later.“

As said, in other apps AirPlay is working fine. But my Television provider denies any failures in their side. And told me they were not able to reproduce the error. Even Though in other apps on my side everything is working fine. So to I tried to make sure on my side everything was a clean as possible. I did factory resets, several resets and restart of all my devices in the network. Switched of Bluetooth. Reinstalled all apps, tried multiple firmware versions of my AppleTV.

Unless someone is missing something I could try, I am almost sure the error must be in the App supported by my cable provider.

I am not a software developer but is there anybody with any ideas?

Nope, just airplay. Ask if they allow their content to be streamed from a iPhone or iPad to a TV. You may need to get to someone that knows what they are talking about, first level support is generally the junior staff.
