I have a red splotch that only appears when I’m on a black page or app. At first I thought it was lcd damage but I did some research and this looks different than any other photo of lcd damage I’ve seen
please help!

Do you have a screen protector on your iPhone? If so, I'd recommend removing the protector, cleaning your display, and checking again.
