I have upgraded my MacBook Air to macOS Catalina 10.15.4.
However the software update notification for the macOS is still active even tough I have restart my MacBook Air several times.
Pls advise. Thank you.

Also. make sure you deleted the correct file…
While in the Finder, press "command shift G", paste the above line into the window that opens and press Return. It will highlight the file for deletion.

Delete this file then restart.

After deleting the file as you suggested, the problem is still there.
Software update notification for the macOS update to Catalina 10.15.4 is still active.

Did you restart? It takes up to 30 seconds afterwards before it disappears.
