WebAssistSearch Warning

Nearly every time I access a website, I get a black pop-up window with a yellow triangle and white exclamation point. It is a warning asking me, "Do you want to allow the application "WebAssisteSearch" to accept incoming connections?" This started happening a few months back, and I don't recall seeing it during the first 5 or so years I've owned my Mac. Does anyone know if it's OK to click "Allow"? Thanks!
