Problems installing Origin on my mac

Hi,

I'm trying to install Origin on my mac to download the sims. The Origin.dmg file downloads fine however I click it to start the installation process and all I get is a pop up telling me to move it into my applications folder. I've done this and it still doesn't do anything else when I click the file. I've deleted the downloads, tried the Origin refresh tool. Downloaded straight to the applications folder and still nothing. Spoke to EA and they can't help.

Has anyone had this problem and know of a solution?

Hi, thanks I had been on speaking with a EA adviser for an hour or so but they didn’t understand and were no help. I’ve actually just came across a YouTube video though which has fixed my problem. I just had to find an older version of origin to instal instead of the current one on their website... why I don’t know, but it’s worked!

Please contact the program's developers for help. This sounds like an app problem, not a macOS problem.
