photo app

my photos app on my macbook stopped working. my pictures are gone and the photos option when trying to change my desktop background is also missing.

MacBook Air 13", macOS 10.14

Try starting Photos with the option key held down and create a new library. Does it work now? IF so, we will try to get your pictures back.
