Restoring text messages
I had to replace a defective iPhone so I backed up and reinstalled. Now all my important text messages are gone. Can they be restored?

Thanks for your reply! I realized that I had message-sharing turned off in the old phone, so I put the sim card back, turned it on and the messages downloaded when I replaced the sim in the new phone. Happy day!
