iCal repeat events exclude weekends

Thanks for coming to Apple Support Communities for help today with Calendar events. It sounds like you want an event to repeat every 4 days but exclude weekends.

If this is on a Mac, please see: Set up or delete a repeating event in Calendar on Mac.

"You can also make the event occur according to a pattern (for example, on the third Thursday of each month in which the event occurs). To set up a pattern, select “On the,” then choose options from the pop-up menus."

You may also need to follow the steps under "Delete some occurrences of a repeating event".

For Calendar on the iPhone, you can see instructions here: Create and edit events in Calendar on iPhone. However, all features may not be available.
