iPad Air 3rd generation case

There is only one iPad Air 3rd generation, and as such only 1 set of measurements for it.

The 3rd Generation iPad Air has a 10.5 inch screen measured diagonally and measures: 9.8in by 6.8in by 0.24in.

Any case that says is meant for a 3rd generation iPad Air will fit.

If it says its for a 7th generation iPad (10.2in), or an iPad Pro (11in), it will not fit.

Actually no. The 7th gen is a bit thicker than the Air. So most snug

fitting cases will not correctly fit. If the case is softer and with

some give, it might fit.

Hard cases will have a tough time.

The 10.5in, is just the viewable screen area. It does not include the frame.

Additional to Phil0124’s comments, given that the iPad Air3 is based on the iPad Pro 10.5”, you’ll find that the vast majority of cases for the Pro 10.5” are compatible with the Air3.
