  1. Is your iPhone not connecting to CarPlay in your car, or is something else happening?
  2. Do you get an error message? If so, what does it say?
  3. Which iOS version are you using on your iPhone?

Installing Updates:

To update a system, be sure to get the drivers from the manufacturer and none other. If the dealership is where to get this update, then do as instructed. If it is an add-on car stereo (one that is customizable and was installed by you or whomever else), then most certainly get the updates from its manufacturer, and none other. That would be for safety reasons.
