Looking for a Quality Lightning Extension Cable

It is not possible to extend the lightning plug end of a lighting cable, because the lightning plug itself has 4 microcircuits in it. You can extend the USB end, but there is a limit to how long it can be (light travels at 1 nanosecond per foot). So your total cable length should not be longer than 2 meters. And Apple (and other vendors) sell 2 meter cables.

Are you saying your stereo has a Lightning port? That's unusual.

Male to female lightning cables are not that common.

If your stereo has a USB port, perhaps a USB extension cable would be easier to find, and just use a shorter lightning to USB cable with it.

Amazon makes good quality lightning to usb cables. I have one that's worked fine for the last several years.
