Pending payment even after I updated my credit card information

Hi!


I am having some trouble with an in-app purchase on my iPhone 8 after accidentally trying to pay with an expired card.


I was redirected to update my billing- and credit card information during the purchase, so I deleted my expired card and added my new, valid credit card of the same type in order to complete the payment.

However, the payment did not get through, so the payment has been listed as pending in my purchase history on iTunes/Apple ID purchase history.


I then tried to make another, smaller in-app purchase to see if my new card was working correctly.

It worked, and I received what I paid for, but I have still not received what I attempted to initially pay for the first time.

In addition, both of the purchases are now listed as pending, even if the second purchase went through correctly.

My bank has reserved the total for first payment as well, so I do not think they blocked the purchase.


When will Apple try to recharge me with the new, updated credit card? I have not yet received the billing information/invoice for the purchases.

Should I contact the developers of the app, or Apple support?
