High Sierra > Mojave (patches) > How to?

I have heard somewhere, it might be possible for me to update (at least partially) to Mojave.

MacOS High Sierra 10.13.6

MBPr 13" Mid 2010

2x2 GB RAM

123 free (250 GB SATA)

This would be possible through patches. Anyone know what I'm talking about? I am especially interested because of features such as 'dark mode' (I like the High Sierra dark mode menu).
