how to control mute on iphone

I have a iPhone 11 max. When I dial keypad has white background and no other keys except numbers and delete. I have no mute button. No sound button.

There are no other buttons to appear on the dial pad page. The Mute button will only appear after the call is dialed. If you have opened the dial page from a current call, if you look below the last column of buttons on the right, you should see the word Hide, tap that.
