I dropped my old iPhone 8+, and it is broken completely - no access - so I went out and bought an 11 Pro, but I'm worried I can't activate new phone. Plus I'm not sure if I even have iTunes on my computer....

Note : you have to sign in same Apple ID and password that was used in old broken iPhone , to sign in within new iPhone , if the data was saved on iCloud server ( from old iPhone ) , it will definitely sync with new iPhone .

Thank you so much for the response! but Ive tried all the proper channels to help - my old phone(iphone8+) is damaged and canNOT unlock it - I need to unlock it to backup to iCloud. -----NO ONE seems to understand this ----- Do I need a 3rd party to try and open it up, so I can back up to iCloud.???
i tried setting up new phone(iPhone 11Pro) to see if it would take what i have on iCloud - and it says there is "nothing" .....is there! Also - it wont connect to iTunes either...
Now when i go into iCloud my new phone (Iphone11Pro) is on there and my old phone(iPhone8+) is not. My new phone(11Pro) is not even fully set up! I still get texts and calls on old broken phone(8+) - but i CAN NOT open it!
Thank goodness i have an apple watch still attached to old phone - so I use that.
Now after reading this - can anyone help!! Everything is closed due to the virus and I need to speak to someone - THANKS in advance!
Thank you so much for your help! I took it to phone repair place - I couldn't wait - Apple said it would take over a week! I understand with everything going on...so I get it....
Cell repair place is going to replace screen and set up new phone for me - not too worried about the cost and my family has used this repair place before (small town)... so they are going to call when its done ....they said it would work and they can fix my problem! But I really do appreciate you reaching out to help!
I understand 3rd party is taboo - but I don't know what else to do???
