I was on my phone and my MacBook at the same time when my friend was messaging me. After that I could only receive messages from my friend specifically on my laptop only. Not on my iPhone. It’s just my friend that’s having this problem. He uses Apple too by the way. How do I fix this?

I see you are having issues with the Messages app.
There are a couple of things to check. If your friend is trying to send iMessages and that service is not enabled on the iPhone, it could be a reason you might see iMessages only on the Mac.
About iMessage and SMS/MMS - Apple Support
Check to make sure the service is enabled on the iPhone at Settings > Messages.
Also, if your friend in not listed in your Contacts and the Silence Unknown Callers feature is enabled, it could cause something like this.
