I can't attach my HEIC photo image to a document

How do I attach my HEIC photo image to a document? I get an error code saying file format is not supported

What kind of document is it?

Not all applications are supporting the HEIC format.

You could convert the image to a JPEG by exporting it from Photos with "File > Export > Export .. Photos" and set the "Kind" to JPEG in the export dialog.

Thanks for info. Document was a request for an estimate form for a construction project that I was trying to send a photo of the conceptual drawing.

Thank you Leonie, this has bedeviled me recently when trying to attach an iPhone photo to an Ebay message or Etsy review and your export suggest is the answer!
