How do I find deleted text messages

If you sync messages with the cloud and you delete them, you can't find them as you deleted them. If you don't sync with the cloud and you have a backup from before you deleted them, you can restore your phone from that backup, but it will restore your phone to the time the backup was made, so texts sent or received after that will be gone.
