SnapChat screen black on iPhone

every time i go back into my iPhone it returns to that same black screen and wont let me go to my home screen or close the app. I tried shutting it down, when i press on both buttons it vibrates then returns back, it wont let me shut down or restart. when i receive a call i hear it but cannot answer it. when any notifications pops up it lets me see it but not tap on it and enter my iPhone.

Can anyone help me with this issue please?
