internal keyboard stops

internal keyboard stopped working, no damage done. power button and trackpad works great, brought in for repair they asked to delete all my data, i said no and they asked me to connect a external keyboard and save all my data, how on earth do i connect my bluetooth keyboard on a login page of macbook.

If the BT keyboard isn't already paired with the laptop, then you need to use a wired USB keyboard. Even a Windows USB keyboard will work.
