Hi I received an email from Apple saying someone had tried to access my iCloud but I really don’t think it’s a proper email from them The English was grammatically incorrect and there was a number to call for verification do I delete or keep email

Received an email from Apple saying someone had tried to access my iCloud . The email was dodgy English grammatically bad and there was a number to call ! Do I keep email and forward in or just ignore it or set while new email etc Thanks

It is a phishing attempt. Do not respond. Do not divulge any personal or financial information. You can use the address below to forward the suspect email message, as an attachment to Apple.
