My iPhone XS hung and the screen went blank after I turned on the voice over. Tried a hard reset several times but didn’t work. I can’t even enter my passcode. Thanks in advance.

Hi Less, thanks for your reply. I managed to sort out the issue. I’d accidentally turned on the voice over which resulted in my screen being frozen. I restarted the iPhone a number of times and eventually entered my passcode by pressing the screen buttons hard. Once I got in, I was able after much difficulty to go into Settings and deactivate the voice over function. Once I did that, the screen resumed to being normal. In hindsight I probably couldn’t achieved the same result by using Siri.

From reading your post, I understand you're unable to get your iPhone to work. I'd like to help. What happens after using the steps found in this article to force restart your iPhone? If your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch won't turn on or is frozen
Does it still get stuck?
What screen do you see?
Make sure to have your iPhone plugged in. At least give it 30 minutes of being connected to power incase the battery was low.
