Transfer MDM profile from iPhone 6 to iPhone SE 2nd generation?

I have an iPhone 6 with a Mobile Device Management profile through VMware Airwatch.

I have two apps associated with the MDM profile on my iPhone 6:

• VMware Workspace ONE Intelligent Hub

• VMware Workspace ONE Web

I just purchased an iPhone SE and used iPhone to iPhone data migration to transfer my data to the new device, but the MDM profile did not transfer over to the iPhone SE.

Is it possible to transfer the MDM profile from the iPhone 6 to the new iPhone SE?

Would erasing the iPhone SE and then restoring it from an iPhone 6 backup work?
