iTunes Authorization Prompts & iTunes Windows Downloads Failures

I realize Apple wants to force us to use "Apple Music".

However can they not fix the latest iTunes for Windows (v12.10.6.2) so at least its usable? It's a pile of junk.

Apple, please have your iTunes developers hire some QA staff so they can test your bug ridden products. Thanks!

Repeated requests to authorize an already authorized computer for recent store downloads typically indicates you have corrupt or incomplete copies. Delete the tracks that won't play from your library without hiding from your purchase history. Redownload using the cloud links that should remain, or close iTunes and reopen if they don't show up straight away. While downloading click the activity widget and turn off the option that allows for simultaneous downloads.

Thanks for responding.

Turns out for a recent iTunes purchase a percentage of files have old DRM-style file locks so they can't be downloaded. iTunes just continuously prompts for authorization endlessly every time a DRM-based file is selected.

You'd think iTunes developers could produce valid error messages for these DRM errors since Apple pioneered DRM (e.g. AAC) file restrictions.
