I deleted a number from my blocked list and now I can’t unblock it. How do I add it back to my unblocked numbers?

I blocked someone’s number a while ago. When I went to unblock the number I hit delete instead of unblock and now I’m unable to unblock the person. Is there a way to restore that number and unblock it?

Hey Blanca,

I see that you have a concern with deleting a contact instead of unblocking it.

When you block a contact, even if you delete it from the Contacts list, the number will still appear in Settings > Phone. If you removed the contact from Settings > Phone, then the number has been unblocked. Here's some more information here: Block phone numbers, contacts, and emails on your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch - Apple Support.

Have a great day.
