Thanks for using Apple Support Communities! I see that you're having some trouble with Activation Lock. I can shed some light on this.
If you don't recognize the Apple ID at all and you're not the original owner of the device, only the owner will be able to remove Activation Lock. Read more here: Turn off Find My iPhone Activation Lock
