How can I add friend to Game Center using other options without phone number?

I use ipad air 2019 and want to add friend to game center. The problem is me and my friend live in different country and we use Ipad then we have no ios phone number to be added.

How can I add friend using other options without phone number?

Hello,

You can befriend someone on Game Center using iMessage. Instead of their phone number, you can send the Game Center invite using their Apple ID email address.
