Verification required email

I received this email and I did not sign in to iCloud at 3 am. What can I do to protect myself ?

I appreciate you sharing this screenshot of the email communication you received. This is not from Apple. This is what is referred to as a phishing attempt. Please read through these articles and follow the guidance on how to handle this: Recognize and avoid phishing messages, phony support calls, and other scams - Apple Support, and Identify legitimate emails from the App Store or iTunes Store - Apple Support. As quoted from this last article, "If you think you might have entered personal information like a password or credit card info on a scam website, immediately change your Apple ID password."
