USB Gaming Keyboard not working
It does not get past identifying keyboard stage
Go to the manufactures web site and check for macOS compatibility and/or macOS drivers.

they claim it support macs so maybe your keyboard is defect I would try it with another computer
Did it come with a small Bluetooth receiver that plugs into one of your Mac's USB port?
If it did, then you need to try it with that USB Bluetooth receiver.
If it did not, then return it and buy a Bluetooth or USB keyboard that is Mac compatible.

Treefrog (keyboard) does not have a website
Apple support chat was not able to help beyond SMS and NVRAM reset links. Did not solve my problem.
