Can’t cancel a subscription

I have a SHIELD VPN - VPN & Security subscription and there is no option to unsubscribe under settings. I don’t even know how I subscribed or when in the first place, so I haven’t the slightest clue how to contact them to cancel/unsubscribe. I don’t even have an app on my phone for VPN. Says it ends on May 12 and is $79.99/year. I don’t want to be charged. Please help.

Apple's policy requires that you cancel your subscription directly .

Before canceling your subscription, please ensure that you are signed in to the same Apple ID with which you originally purchased your Premium subscription.

iOS 11, 12 and 13

  1. Launch Settings.
  2. Tap your name.
  3. Tap on Subscriptions.
  4. Tap Hotspot Shield.
  5. Tap Cancel Subscription.

If you're trying to cancel your subscription from your Windows or Mac device, check out Apple Support's article.

NOTE: If Hotspot Shield is not listed under your subscriptions, it means that auto-renewal has already been canceled. If you run into any issue or problem while performing this cancellation, please contact Apple

It sounds like you have been scammed.

Did you provide any potentially damaging information to anyone? If yes, you'll need to follow up, for example, with a credit card company, Apple, your bank, etc.

I feel like my post wasn’t read. I said that there isn’t an option to cancel under my subscriptions in settings. Let me be more precise...there is not a link like there usually is under the subscriptions under my Apple ID as you have suggested I do. I know how to do that and it isn’t allowing it. Also, I cannot cancel something directly with a vendor I never signed up with in the first place. I don’t know how this subscription got on my account, nor do I have an app for that. Please help with more than a copy and paste generic reply. Thank you
