Apple store automatic updates

I have an iPhone SE(NOT the latest version) with the latest iOS(13.4.1)

Although I have all the appropriate settings enabled within the iTunes and App Stores setting and I am connected to both wifi and cellular networks the updates do NOT update automatically. I have to either click on “ update all” if there’s more than one app requiring updating or just click on “update” to the right of the name of the app if there’s just one app requiring updating.

Any help with a solution to this problem would be greatly appreciated.

There are a few criteria for App Store apps to automatically update.

These are:

The iOS device must be on and/or asleep.
The iOS device must be connected to power and/or battery is almost full.
The iOS device must be connected to a cellular data network and/or Wi-Fi.
Updates larger than 100MB will only be downloaded over Wi-Fi, never cellular. You can also disallow updating over cellular.
If device is in Low Power Mode it will not update

Thank you for your prompt reply.

I do meet all these criteria and yet still my updates do NOT auto update. I did speak with Apple support and they were going to have to send it to what I think was going to be upper eschelon tech support. Unfortunately the call was disconnected before I was able to send a snapshot of the app update page and haven’t gotten back to them yet.
