Games on IPad 4th Gen
I loaded a couple of games but they will not open. I have plenty of memory & the iPad is current on software. Why won't they open?
iPad, iOS 10

Perhaps the “games” are no longer compatible with iOS 10.x. You can check compatibility for every App on the relevant App page in the Apple App Store.
Many App Developers have dropped support for older devices and iOS versions preceding iOS11/12 - and have withdrawn older versions of their Apps from the Apple App Store.
If Apps that you need to use now have higher minimum iOS-version requirements, if you wish to use them, your only option is to replace your iPad with newer model.
I hope this information is helpful - in directing you to appropriate information to confirm compatibility with your [now rather elderly] iPad.

Yeah,
I will have to agree with LotusPilot.
Most games have moved on to higher iOS minimums that a 7-1/2-year old iPad can no longer upgrade to.
Sorry.
Thank you. I had a feeling I would need to upgrade to a newer iPad :)
