IPad lockout
I cannot sign in to my original account as it is with Verizon & they do not have email any longer. I made a new sign on & password & have been using that but now my IPad is locked & I can't get on at all.

If the new Apple email address was working, which is how I interpret your statement, you can erase the device in order to unlock it.
If you forgot the passcode on your iPhone, or your iPhone is disabled - Apple Support
I you are locked out due to Activation lock, you need to use the credentials that you used when you set up the device.
Turn off Activation Lock - Apple Support
